Poem (c) Frostwolf Garou 2004
Ice Phoenix
By: Frostwolf Garou
Near the little coastal town
Above a massive peak
Soars a huge, ancient figure
With talons and a beak
She stretches her wings of blue ice
gleaming under the moon
as through the air they slice
showing white plume(age)
Her keening cry
high, strong and loud
echoes through the sky
as she dances in a cloud
A cool ice breeze follows in her wake
as powder snow rains from her wings
as she lands giving her feathered tail a shake
as sharp winds sing
