Summers day has just begun,
Best get up for doughnut run,
Blueberry, maple & walnut scones, oh yum!
Coming back, things still to be done,
Scones are scoffed, I still say: yum!
Soon off again, auto packed with fluff,
Off to craft depot, like sardine packed furry mod-squad,
If only we call had shades, to make the scene complete,
Ring yourself checkout lines, peanut butter and relish greens,
Back at house, party's just begun,
Fur's arrive, wow this place's alive!
Tails and ears, collars and paws,
Lots of DDR-ers!
More doughnuts than one can count,
Lots of scoff, so do not pout,
Pool's open, and so's the slide!
Otter's dream, water's fun!
Tree for pandas, grass for furs to run and play on,
Even kitties like the water!
Inside furs play more DDR, talk and chat, and laugh for sure,
Sketchbooks fly from hand to hand, while great artists sketch and draw,
MST3K comes on, and some furs jam with guitar and snare,
Almost overwhelming, so many furry people there,
All to say goodbye to two furs going 'way,
They'll comeback, soon be gone, but not too long,
A sendoff of the like, there never was!
Summer fun, you bet! A ton!
But missed t'will be, when in lands of eternal summer I'll be, and sit and dream.
Goodbye sweet summer, then good to me,
Goodbye b'loved friends, always good to me,
I'll be back, just wait and see,
pro'bly when summer's rays return to tickle me. ^_^
