(clears throat)

There once was a bear named Belic. Belic loved to eat fish. One day Belic was sitting next to the river with a sad look on his face.

K'gra, the leopard, came up to Belic and asked, "Belic, why are you so sad?"

Belic replied, "Because I came to the river today and there were no fish."

"No fish!", said K'gra. "Well what happened to them?"

Belic looked at K'gra with a tear in his eye and said, "I don't know."

"Don't cry, Belic, I bet Runtt will know what happened to the fish." K'gra said as she hugged Belic. So they went off to find Runtt.

"Hello, Runtt." K'gra said when they found him playing his drums.

"Hello, K'gra. Hello, Belic...Belic why do you look so sad?" Runtt the Red Panda replied.

"Because there are no more fish in the river, Runtt. Do you know what happened to them?"

"What no more fish!" Runtt yelled in surprise. "Where did they go?"

"That's the problem, we don't know." said K'gra.

"What about Baron?" asked Runtt.

"Yeah that's a good idea. Baron will know for sure." said Belic. So the three animals raced off to find Baron.

INTERMISSION
Oh, this is to much suspense for me, maybe I should finish it later. (looks up at Belic) Ok I'll write, I'll write.
INTERMISSION END

They found Baron sitting in his barn drawing. As they came in he looks up to see the three distressed animals. He says, "You all look so sad what's wrong?"

"The fish are all gone!" yells Runtt.

"What fish? What are you talking about, Wah?", asked Baron with a confused look on his face.

"The fish from the river have disappeared, Baron." says K'gra. The pencil falls from Barons hand in shock.

"That can't be. There are always fish in the river," says Baron in shock.

"We're sure." says the three animals at once.

"Does anyone else know about this?" asks Baron. Just then Alanya appears in the doorway and asked what all the fuss is. The four animals start to tell the story and by the time they finished Alanya was speechless.

"We have to get to the bottom of this. Somebody has taken the fish and I'm too hungry to be playing anymore games," says Belic with a determined tone of voice. "Now we can get to more furs if we split up. We'll meet back here at noon, OK"

Just as Belic finishes his speech he see something moving in the corner of his eye. He races over to a bush and catches Fenrir.

"Fenrir, do you know what happened to all the fish?" Belic asks with the same hungry tone.

"Me....NO. Why would I know what happened to the fish." Fenrir replies.

"FENRIR, I'm getting hungry." Belic says.

"Ok it was Koda. He woke up early this morning and caught all the fish. I saw him take them into his backyard," Fenrir quickly answers.

"There now, that wasn't so hard, was it?" Belic laughs as he puts the wolf down.

The six animals hurried to the Koda's door; with a great heave Belic slams it open. And there in the hall all the rest of the animals of the forest were gathered. A delicious aroma filled the air.

"Belic, K'gra, Runtt, Baron, Alyana, Fen. I was wondering were you guys were." said Koda, the little grizzly bear.

"Koda what is all this?" asked Belic.

"It's a party. I thought I told you guys about it. It must of slipped my mind. Anyway, come on in and get some fish, it looks like you just ran a mile." laughed the little bear.

And all the animals had a wonderful time, and the next day the river filled with fish and everything returned to normal.
