Here I am in the night
On the rock
Beneath the stars
In the woods
Between the trees
The sound of the day's rain dripping
Dripping from the leaves
To the ground -
The sound finds me
Binds me
Warmly
And loving

'Tween the trees
And 'Neath their shelter
I dream -
I dream to be heard
To be found
I call out with the true language
Speak with my heart
Not a sound
No sound

Soar to me, Companion
Spirit of the pure
Live with me this moment
Share with me the air
Know the core
Close your eyes
Know me once again
No biting
Scratching
Fighting
Hating
Fearing
Toying
Misunderstanding
Love with me now, this moment here
Breathe with me the cleanest air
No laughing
Mocking
Hurting words
Be with me now and do not go
Be with me now
